Why We Do It
Helping others to be faithful in stewarding their finances.
In Luke 16 Jesus tells his disciples "Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much. So if you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will trust you with what is genuine? And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?"
Being "faithful" may include setting a significant giving objective, but it may also look like dependably and reliably generating strong returns and many multiples on invested capital (parable of the talents - Matt. 25). We have defined four key areas of financial faithfulness, which incude: increasing profits, generating higher cash flow, reducing reliance on financial instruments (including debt), and giving generously.
We show up to work every day because of this mission: to help others be faithful in the stewardship of their finances. At the end of the day, money isn't the prize, Jesus is. As the song goes, "I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold, I'd rather be His than have riches untold."
